Cognition announced that Devin Cloud can now be accessed directly from a terminal. The company’s X post on Sept. 21 introduced two new commands—devin ssh and /cloud—that let users create, steer and resume cloud sessions without leaving the command line.
According to Cognition, devin ssh opens an SSH connection to a dedicated virtual machine that runs Devin, while the /cloud command manages the lifecycle of cloud sessions from the terminal. After completing work on the remote VM, users can invoke /handoff to return the session to their local device.
