Devin Desktop: Faster Sidebar and Fixes — 2026-08-13

Devin Desktop, released around August 13, 2026, now features a faster sidebar for users with thousands of cached sessions. The update improves performance by only processing sessions actually fetched for display, eliminating multi-second lag after ‘Reload Window’ or while scrolling. Additionally, Devin Local fixed authentication issues with certain MCP servers, such as self-hosted GitLab servers and older Atlassian MCP instances.
