Devin Desktop: Continuity — 2026-08-10

Devin Desktop has shipped new updates between August 1 and August 10, 2026, with a focus on improving the user experience for developers. The latest version, 3.7.16, introduces several key features, including a confirmation prompt when restarting the application to update, while keeping cloud sessions running. Settings and Keyboard Shortcuts now open as regular editor tabs by default.

  • The “Plugins” section has been renamed to “Extensions” for clarity.
  • Visual polish has been added to the Agent Command Center, including left-aligned titlebars and unsaved-changes indicators.
  • Teams plan members no longer see quota warning banners they cannot act on.
  • Devin Local conversations can be shared with a sanitized transcript and a team-visible link.
  • Reverting is now reliable mid-turn, with revert buttons appearing as soon as a prompt is sent.
